Scott G. Richter has served on the OCPM Foundation (now The Podiatry Foundation) Board of Trustees since 2016. He is a Senior Investment Manager for Westfield Group Insurance which manages over four billion dollars in assets. He is responsible for investment strategy, portfolio/sector allocation, and security analysis. Additionally, he is the lead on the alternative asset portfolio. Mr. Richter has been in the investment industry since 1997. He was formerly the co-manager of Fifth Third Asset Management’s Large Cap Value Strategy. Prior to Fifth Third, he was Senior Portfolio Manager at Mellon Financial and a founding partner of Weber Fulton Felman Investment Counsel. Mr. Richter has held functional roles in engineering, product management, management consulting, and retail operations. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester and Harvard’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Richter has been a guest/contributor to CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, Barron’s Online, and Reuters. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, and the Certified Hedge Fund Professional (CHP) designation.
