Our Impact
Our passion behind funding grants is due to the ripple effect they have on the field of podiatric medicine, education, and research. It never stops with one person or one organization.
Even with a relatively small principal balance, we have been able to annually fund over $600,000 in grants almost exclusively for podiatric medicine.
Areas of Our Impact
We have enabled many significant research projects that will allow our providers to give even better care to patients. Funding these profound research studies such as the Impact on Podiatric Care of the Diabetic Foot helps to bring great strides in the education and advancement of foot and ankle care.
Special Report: Cadavers Leap into 21st Century with Virtual Dissection Tool
The educational projects are helping the podiatry faculty excel even more in advancing the education for students – helping them to achieve the best podiatric medical education. The New York College of Podiatric Medicine now has a state-of-the-art Anatomage Table for virtual dissection which has been labeled “a game changer” for enhancing student education. READ MORE
The assistance we have historically given to Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs provides critical financial aid to these national, state, and local organizations that strive to help established podiatric professionals maintain and enhance their skills, knowledge, and ability to better treat patients needing foot care.

Finally, over the years we have given hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to podiatry students in an effort to both recognize their acumen in grasping the educational and clinical aspects of a critically important profession, as well as assisting their financial needs in completing their degree requirements. Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine collaborated with the Ministries and Health & Wellness and Education to provide books to primary school students, hands-on clinical education to over 30 students, diabetic/wound care education to more than 30 doctors, nurses, and wound care specialists and to treat over 1200 patients!
